my friend Kharla come into town for her friend’s wedding so i went over to Ruben and Coralyn’s where she was staying to hang out with her for a little bit before Ben and i went up to Dublin to see Superman Returns in IMAX 3D. when i got to their house, i also met Virgil and Doylene whom i haven’t seen for a long time either. it seems like every time Kharla comes around my friends have a small reunion because we don’t normally hang out on a usual basis. anyway, Ben met me at the house about 30 minutes later and we carpooled up to Dublin to get our Superman 3D fix. there was about 20 minutes of 3D footage during key action scenes. it was pretty cool. a pretty expensive ticket. but pretty cool nonetheless.

i started july with a going-away party for a friend of mine and her husband at the Sonoma Chicken Coop. i’m assuming that going-away parties aren’t the most wanted of parties. i mean who really wants their friends to move away? but nonetheless, it gives us the reason to get together with other friends that we don’t get to see very often and catch up on stuff, eat some food, and hang out.

i’ve known Marilyn since 1989. i was a junior and she was a freshman and we went to the same high school for the next two years. we even rode on the same bus for one year. woohoo! the Milpitas bus! the memories!

after the restaurant half of us went to see Click! and the other went to the Western’s apartment for some Guitar Hero and gaming action of PC and poker variety. i played the Prey demo and i must say its pretty slick.
