The Familiar and the Fresh

There has obviously been a number of things that has transpired between 4 July 2010 and 16 August 2013. I’m not sure why I chose to leave my blog alone all that time. Or maybe it wasn’t a purposeful choice I made but instead a prioritization of other pursuits and interests which resulted to its neglect.

Though I have been keeping my installation of WordPress up to date, what I’m realizing now is that I haven’t been keeping myself up to date… at least on a granular level. Thankfully it hasn’t changed all that much and I’m delighted to experience both the familiar and the fresh.

The obvious change starting today may be seen by the new theme that I have selected. The popularity of portable devices such as smartphones and tablets has prompted better and creative ways to deliver content on the internet. This theme uses responsive web design to accommodate viewers from the desktop to smartphone.

I hope to begin sjamesho.v4 with updates twice a month around the 15th and 30th of the month. It could be more frequent than that but I’d rather set an expectation and meet it than set one and fall short. If all goes well with this frequency, I will ramp up to three times a month (the 5th, 15th, and 25th), then once a week.
